Walks & Hikes

Trails, gorges and wild capes

The Var is also best discovered on foot. Here are our favourite walks: some a few minutes from the house, others a little further for a great day out. Remember good shoes, water and a hat.

The coast

Cap Lardier and Cap Taillat

Starting from Gigaro beach, the coastal path runs along coves with turquoise water. A few narrow, steep sections.

Lac des Escarcets

An easy trail in the heart of the Plaine des Maures, among cork oaks and umbrella pines.
